    My Dear Upendra,

If there was a great way to make me feel very welcome in Bihar, you have definitely found it!

I have done some reading about Bihar, but I am convinced that a book can just scratch the surface. I am fascinated by the depth of its history and the challenges ahead. I grew up in Rome (Italy) and I am particularly sensitive to the importance of historical heritage. I would love to have you to help me understand a bit more the culture and the future of Bihar. I will be in Patna in a few days and I would love to meet you once I am there. What do you think?

Thanks again for your welcoming and encouraging message. I can’t wait to be there.

    Mario
