As the holiday season reaches full swing, be sure to reserve December 6th for Celebrate South Asia, an event hosted by New York for Acumen (NYfA).

The event will take place at the beautiful and historic Alvin Ailey Studios from 7-10pm. DJ Rekha, New York City’s top Bhangra DJ, will be playing her world renowned mix of Bhangra and Bollywood sounds merged with today’s hip hop. There will be a performance by Dhoonya Dance and an opportunity to learn more about Acumen’s work in South Asia.  Guests will have access to an open bar, Indian buffet, and the opportunity to bid on great silent auction items, such as, yoga classes,  private cooking lessons from Michelin star chefs, tickets to the Tribeca Film Festival and many more.
